Temporary, Full-Time School Librarian

        The Haverford School, an independent college-prepatory day school
that enrolls approximately 750 boys in grades K through 12, is seeking a
temporary, full-time librarian.
        The main responsibility of the position is to maintain a
scholarly and orderly atmosphere in the Severinghaus Library, which
serves grades 6-12.  Additional duties include supervising the
circulation clerk, teaching library instruction classes, assisting
students with research projects, performing online searches for teachers
and students, cataloging books, and maintaing the library database.
        The position is available for approximately three months;
January, February, and March.  There will be a training period during the
first two weeks of December.
        A Masters Degree in Information Science is preferred, with some
experience working in school libraries, specifically with grades 6-12.
