Texas State Library Advisory Committee
School Library Media Standards

As part of the planning process to develop standards for school library
media centers, State Librarian Dr. Robert S. Martin, will appoint an
advisory committee, composed of representatives from various stakeholder
groups, to work with the Texas State Library.  Suggestions for people to
serve on this committee are being requested at this time.  Stakeholder
groups include school librarians, other librarians, principals,
superintendents, classroom teachers, parents, school board members, etc.
