HIT-> TECH: Science Materials

Though I received few replies, I think these are quite valuable.  Our
plan is to have 16 hand-picked master science teachers serve as a
steering committee in our science curriculum development process.
These teachers will explore as many alternatives to textbook curriculums as
possible.  Here are some of the suggestions from LM_NET:
        FOSS materials
        GEMS books
        CNN Science and Technology Week - now CNN Videolink
        Windows on Science
        Optical Data Physical Science and Life Science

If you have other recommendations of non-text science materials that
our committee should see, please let me know.  Thanks to all who
replied.
