I am replying to the whole list because I feel that I have an interesting answer to this question. I review for SLJ, and just recently received the video "The Internet Video" produced by Videos.com, Inc. This is a great program, and only $19.95. It takes the viewer step-by-step, with several touches of humor that students will love, through the Internet. It teaches how to get started, how to get a provider and software, explains e-mail, gopher, WWW, etc. It is great! So, don't bother producing your own, when this one is so good and so cheap!
