electronic magazine and newspaper index info request

Administration considering cancelling library subscriptions to these databases.
Need help with my effort to convince  that they are needed.
Please reply:  Do you have subscriptions to electronic magazine and/or
newspaper data bases???
Approximate cost??
Specific databases you subscribe to??
Internet sites you use that contain magazine and/or newspaper text??
In your opinion - are these subscriptions worth the money??

Will compile summary of information gathered if interested.
