REF: title of fable?

Hello colleagues--
Does anyone recognise this synopsis?

Bird wanted to stay north for the winter and was looking for a tree to put
his nest but all said no, except for the pine.  Another tree offered its
berries for food.  Mother Nature (?) said that since the pine tree shared
with the bird it would get to keep its leaves in the winter and since the
other trees didn't share they would lose their leaves.  Sound familiar?
