Hello LM_Netters, The World Link Newsletter, a monthly guide for K-12 educators navigating the Internet, is now a home page on the World Wide Web. http://www.smartpages.com/worldlink/worldlink.html This was sarted in January, 1993 with a grant from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. When the funds ended, support was sought from other sources. The newsletter is now supported by a grant from FasTrack Computer Products and the home page is supported by Greyden Press. Here is an example where business and education are partnering together for the enrichment of teachers and students. A mailing list has also been established through the Greater Columbus Freenet. If you would like to receive the text version automatically, send an e-mail message to: ljoseph@freenet.columbus.oh.us Subject: World Link In the body of the message type: your e-mail address If you would like a hard copy of the newsletter send 9 Self Addressed Stamped Envelopes to: World Link Library Media Services 737 East Hudson Street Columbus, Ohio 43211 If you want to go directly to the newsletter or browse back issues: Greater Columbus Freenet gopher gizmo.freenet.columbus.oh.us Education Center/Columbus Public Schools/Dept.
