Newsgroups: va-pen.mailing-list.lm_net Path: jhohn From: jhohn@pen.k12.va.us (Jane T. Hohn) Subject: REF: Irish folklore ? Message-ID: <DEqon1.2CFI@pen.k12.va.us> Date: Mon, 11 Sep 1995 11:45:01 GMT Organization: Virginia's Public Education Network Can any of you Irish-Americans tell me the meanings, overt and implied, of the expression "Tis Herse?" It's on a green T-shirt along with a crown. I got it to wear on St. Patrick's Day, not really understanding the expression. Sure now, aren't aren't we all a bit Irish on St. Paddy's Day?! ;-) --- Jane Trump Hohn, LMS Voice: (804) 292-5373 Nottoway High School FAX: (804) 292-3021 PO Box 45 Rt. 460 East e-mail: jhohn@pen.k12.va.us Nottoway VA 23955
