For several years I have been searching for a story called "twelve Years, Twelve Animals" in a Houghton Mifflin reader, possibly 1976 copyright. The level was between 1st and 3rd grades, probably high 2nd or above. It was about a king who was having a party. Cat had a toothache and was not invited-that is why there is no year of the cat in the Chinese New Year. Does anyone have a copy? I have called HM and asked each representsative I have seen and have received nothing. If you have it I am willing to buy the book, pay the postage, copy fees, whatever. Thanks in advance.
