My JHS librarian friend asked me today if I knew of any cd-rom encyclopedias from which students can print their maps and/or flags in color. Her social studies teachers have requested this feature. Not having yet gotten her to subscribe to TENET, our wonderful statewide network, I thought this might be a good opportunity to show her the power of the LM-NET community. She also would like to know your top three choices for cd-rom encyclopedias in JHS LMCs. (What DID we do before acronyms replaced English!) <g> ======= I also have a cd-rom question: Is there any way for the World Book InfoFinder to run on a Mac Classic II? Has anyone ever successfully run SIRS Discoverer on this same machine? If the Classic's memory is indeed too small, as I suspect, which Macintosh would I need to run both of these programs successfully? Power Macs are not an option. I might possibly be able to "trade up" to an LC II or an older Mac II series machine. Please respond to me directly if you can answer any of these questions.
