I am a first grade teacher in Minnesota and am taking graduate courses for
information media at St. Cloud State University in MN. I have completed 18
credits at the moment but am wondering if I should keep going for my media
specialists degree or go to an ALA accredited school so I could work at a
university or public library or as a university teacher in the future.
*Should I change if I want to work in public schools for the next 5 years?
*If I move out of Minnesota, will I be hired without ALA accredidation?
*If you have both, what are the differences in course work?
*If I keep on with the media specialist degree does that limit me if I want
to teach university level coursework in 10 years?

Please respond directly to me and write Julia on the subject line.
TIA, Julia
