Dear Barb, If you have a VCR in your library, you can record the PBS Reading Rainbow series for use in your instructional library time. This will not violate copyright laws if you are prudent about erasing the tape. You can program the VCR, stick in a blank tape and let it do the work for you. The next day, trade tapes with another blank one. After you have shown the tape, you can have great booklinks and other talks if you have some of the books reviewed on Reading Rainbow in your library. I do this sparingly in place of book talks, and only when we have one or more of the books in our LRC. Claudia Stephens Library Media Center Specialist Ozark, MO Gr. 1-6
