Elem: Distributing book talk books

My Problem:  When I booktalk say a group of 20 books, there will be 10
perhaps that are really *hot* that everyone wants.  Does anyone have ideas
on how to fairly distribute these books?  I let the students put their
names on reserve lists, but it seems they all want to be first with the
