Why will you not be surprised that I got this question today and tons of
money has to be spent within two weeks?

Social studies department has a considerable amount of money to spend on
software.  They have a few titles people have told them about, have read
no reviews, and seen no demos or previews.

Okay, what are your favorite high school (9-12) social studies titles?

A new AP world history course will be introduced this coming year.  The
following year will bring AP American history.  But they are also
interested in good titles for all phases of social studies - geography,
government, economics, etc., and for all levels of students.  They want
titles that are networkable.  Some may be library/research stuff, others
titles should be things like election simulations/surveys and other
critical thinking stimulators - not drill and practice.
