I loved the book and the movie. I was afraid, after watching the TV previews, that it wouldn't follow the book.It did, mostly.Even the new setting worked. The actors were great caricatures. Loved the mother's wardrobe. I thought the ending was satisfactory. Nina Northern Middle School Hagerstown, MD 21742
