SEC:Target:hispanic authors

Welcome back everyone to a new school year! (we start with teachers on
Wednesday)

I would like to prepare a list of hispanic authors and titles geared for the
high school.  I especially need the kind of books that would be suitable for an
intensive study of the author.  I feel that we need to update the list of
"suitable authors".  I feel that if I had a list of authors and books to
recommend I might be able to get the teacher involved to allow some wider
choice.  However, my knowledge is pretty limited in this area.

SO;  If you could recommend authors and/or titles by hispanic authors, suitable
for high school (grades 11 and 12) and are on the level of "classics"  I would
be very greatful.

I will post a hit of any titles I collect.
