ELEM: books for new school year

I would like to thank all of you who sent me information about flexible
scheduling. I now have two more questions. Does anyone know of a book dealing
with a child who is being retained in Kdg for a second year?  Also, what is a
good book about children going into First Grade?  I wish everyone a great
