TECH: Mac 5200/PPP/Eudora problems

Hello!  I have a Mac Performa 5200 CD and am having more and more
problems with it freezing up when using MacPPP.  Now, I am also
encountering corrupt Eudora settings on a regular basis.  If anyone
has had experience with this, I'd appreciate any tips you might be
able to give me.  Thanks for your help!
