The University of Northern Iowa's Division of School Library Media Studies is announcing 2 fall classes that will be offered on the Iowa Communications Network (ICN), a fiber optic, two-way audio and video medium. Sites have been established in IA near the Illinois, Minnesota, and Nebraska areas. The following graduate courses will be taught on Tuesday evenings, 6:00-9:40 pm, Sept 10-November 26. LIBRARY MATERIALS FOR YOUNG ADULTS Dr. Barbara Safford focuses on selecting and evaluating curricular-related materials for secondar school students' reading, viewing, and listening interests and needs. INTEGRATING INFORMATION SKILLS ACROSS THE CURRICULUM Dr. Marjorie Pappas explores information literacy with a focus on information skills models and student-centered curriculum design.
