Best Mac for Journalism

LM Netters:

Our journalism has received a $15,000 grant to buy hardware
for their department. They have decided to use the software
program Page Maker for the Macintosh. We know nothing about Mac
computers and need advice about what is the best Mac computer to
buy for this department. We are also needing advice about a digitial
camera.

I would appreciate advice from anyone who is using Mac's about the
best one to purchase.
