LM Netters I had a fellow librarian ask me yesterday if I knew of any diplomatic way to remind teachers to always check out any materials before leaving the library. In the past 2 weeks she has spend many hours searching for materials to find out that teachers took them out with first checking them out. She has remined them by placing a remainder notice in each teachers mailbox yet it happened again today. The only thing I could suggest was to ask the principal to let her give a brief overview of library procedure at the next faculty meeting. Does anyone out there have any other possible ways she can handle this. She is librarian at our k-1 school. There are about 21 teachers there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
