Old film strips, who can use?

I am cleaning out the AV supply room and it looks like no one has touched it
(or corners of it) in years and years.  I know we will be pitching old
filmstrips.  Anyone know of someone or somewhere that can use these things?
I got a letter the other day asking for my too-old professional journals.
Some historical society.  Are there any historical societies interested in
this early media??
