Software for Primary grades

(I separated this from my just previous question to make it easier to
reply....)  What basic reading, writing and math software is being used in
your school (especially kindergarten and first grade) that teachers really
like?  Is anybody using Read Write and Type? I have looked at it briefly
and it seemed to me to have too much going on  at once but that was a
quick impression.
