The successful candidate will teach graduate courses such as Collection Development, Reference Services, Thesis, etc. and supervise practicum students in school and public libraries. She/he will also serve as advisor to this masters level graduate program. The department seeks applicants with a doctorate in Library Science or a related field. The candidate must have the minimum of a Master's Degree in Library Science and have recent experience in a public or school library system. Experiences should reflect knowledge and practical applications regarding current trends and technologies in the field of Library Science. ABD's must successfully complete the dissertation defense and all requirements for the doctorate prior to September 1, 1997.
