To delete a bookmark in Netscape...
        Under Window  select bookmarks  a little window with your bookmarks
will appear.  Highlight or select the bookmark you want to delete.  Go
to the Edit menu and click on Delete bookmark.  This only works if you
have a bookmark highlighted / selected.

Hope this works.  I use a Mac and while I have a windows pc at school I
cannot confirm the direction.  People tell me it is the same.
