Security Systems

I am posting this request for a high school library media specialist in our
system.  She is replacing her security sytem and would like to know the best
systems out there so she can get a bid from them.  She is currently using
Tattletape- 3M.  What others should be considered?  What are the good points
about any you would suggest, and any ones you need to let her know about the
