TECH: comp to vcr presentation

I've made a presentation on Power Point on my Mac. I'd like to copy it to
video. We can show it on the tv just fine - but how do I make a videotape
of the presentation. I have oodles of cords and connections and have
tried several combinations. I am using an Avery unit to connect Computer
to TV. I am sure it's someting simple I'm not doing. I think my problem
is going from the computer to the vcr. I wanted to show this tomorrow
over the Channel One system.
