--Boundary (ID JGZbkwRvM/81fcsTJVItAQ) Content-type: TEXT/PLAIN; CHARSET=US-ASCII Netters, Please excuse this personal message to the group. The e-mail message given in the message header did not work and not e-mail address was given within the message itself. This has happened to me several times lately. I have been unable to answer a question to an individual and hesitate to send the answer to the whole list. It would help all of us greatly if we ALL put our e-mail addresses at the end of our messages. Thanks for letting me vent my frustration. *************************************************************************** * Beth Pounds * * * Beasley Middle School * The Library- * * Snail Mail: 1100 S. 18th St. * * * Palatka, FL 32177 * Where Learning * * Phone: (904) 329-0569 * * * Fax: (904) 329-0670 * Never Ends * * E-mail: poundsb@mail.firn.edu * * *************************************************************************** --Boundary (ID JGZbkwRvM/81fcsTJVItAQ) Content-type: MESSAGE/RFC822 Date: Tue, 17 Dec 1996 11:11:18 EDT From: "Beth Pounds (904)329-0569" <POUNDSB@a1.firn.edu> Subject: Follett barcodes To: jlees <jlees@auburn.wednet.edu> Message-id: <E1613ZWPVG8ZY7*/R=FIRNVX/R=A1/U=POUNDSB/@MHS> MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: TEXT/PLAIN; CHARSET=US-ASCII Delivery-date: Tue, 17 Dec 1996 11:22:00 EDT Posting-date: Tue, 17 Dec 1996 11:22:00 EDT Importance: normal A1-type: MAIL John, I am interested in exchanging information with you concerning doing barcodes in Avery Label Pro. I also use it to do barcodes for Unison. I have been able to use the prefixes P and T and get labels to print in sequential order and the scanner will read the labels, but they don't look like the ones we purchase. I would love to know all the settings you use to get them to look like the purchased barcodes, please. Here is how you get the prefix to print and numbers to print in order: Open your barcode file. Right click on the barcode to get the Bar Code Properties window. Click on Data to open the Data window. Select Serial to open the next window. You should see 2 boxes-the top one is to enter the first of the numbers you want to print, and the bottom one to enter the prefix (P or T). Once they are selected, choose "Apply" or OK. (Don't remember which one is there, but always choose apply first if it is listed, then OK or close). Hope this helps. Looking forward to getting a listing of your settings.
