m? Dear LM-Netters, Does anyone know who wrote this poem? It appeared in some homework asssignment and the teacher feels that the student did not write it, yet, we can't find it in our Grangers Index to Poetry, 1977 (Alittle outdated, but better then nothing :) ) Soul If I paint the lashes dark And the eyes more bright And the lips more scarlet Ask if it'll be all right And its mirror after mirror No vanities displayed You're just looking for the face You had before you were made. Thanks, Bunkie Wilson Bunkiew@AOL.COM
