Yes we do use verticla file materials and processes. We have curriculum
requirements at senior levels which demand use of immediately past tense
press clippings.
After several years of frustration, all our vertical file is now on computer
base. Scanning of articles is carried out each day. Each file (text or
image) is catalogued and linked to related items such as books, email, etc.
Students then carry out their usual search processes on OPAC.
