Hello to all netters! My time has finally come to put out a request. Forgive me if this request is not 100% professional, however over the holidays I spoke with someone who would truly appreicate any information concerning the following person: 1st Lieutenant Denny Layton Johnson from Bunkie, Louisiana Mr. Johnson was sent to Vietnam in August 1969 and was killed in action on September 2, 1969. If anyone knows anything about Mr. Johnson; his last days, how he died, etc. Ms. Tammy Fryar in Pineville, Louisiana would really appreciate hearing about Mr. Johnson. He was a family friend who was killed when she was 12 years old; apparently she has tried contacting others about his last days and has met several stumbling blocks. As to other thoughts; I have been lurking on LM_NET for almost a year now. I find the thought provoking comments to be just what I need after a full day at school. As a Media Specialist in a high school setting (8 years now) and many more as an elementary Media Specialist, I felt out of touch with others within my field, so it is especially interesting to see that so many of us have faced "exactly" the same questions, trials, and triumphs. Thank you for letting me see that I am not by myself---I do have support from those who know. Thanks again for your time and energy in posting messages. Jeanette Hayward Media Specialist A.T.
