We have 2 new macs (different models tho) that we seem to have problems
shutting down after using CD-ROMS.  We get messages like "shutdown could not be
completed because the application "unknown" could not quit" when we think we
have closed everything down correctly.  Of course, then you get that message
about the last user not shutting down correctly the next time.  any ideas what
we are doing wrong?  TIA for any advice (please make it simple as I confuse
easily!)
