I thought it was understood that AP students be given a list for reading
during the summer!  My niece's daughter who lives in Midland told me the
names of 3 or 4 books that she was going to read this summer in
preparation for the class.  She's in all enriched, advanced, or GT
classes plus being involved in extra-curricular activities. I can't
*imagine* her not reading in the summer!
