REF, SEC: Immigration theme

Two English teachers at my school wish to plan a unit examining
immigration trends to the U.S., historical and current. Any suggestions
for titles, esp. anthologies that would have selections, poems, etc.
written by immigrants? Their impressions and reactions when faced with
a different culture would be esp. useful. Thanks for your help.
