This is my first question to LM-NET. I am interested in the question of quality vrs. popularity in children's literature when selecting materials for elementary school library collections. The titles children choose to read are often not what we would consider qualitiy literature. What reference materials are you aware of on this topic and what have been your personal expereinces on this issue. E. Ann Atchison Fairhaven School Saskatoon, Sask. atchison@gpu.srv.ualberta.ca
