Dear Brian,
I'm sure you've gotten many answers before this one, but the poem is "The
Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe, one of America's premier horror/fantasy writers
of the 19th century. He wrote many more stories and poems, including my
own favorite story "The Pit and the Pendulum."
