1996 Election Resources

I am trying to put together resources for my middle school "customers" (gr.
6-8) to support our study of this fall's Presidential Election.  The social
studies teachers tell me they are hoping I can come up with things that
explains the federal government, as well as the election process itself.
 Print, AV, CD's, mail addresses, URL's,  -- it's wide open.  Any
suggestions?  TIA.
