Sorry to continue this, but a couple of weeks ago Jim White of KMOX radio
in St. Louis said something about the three words ending in -gry.  He
maintained that the third word is "pogry", and although he couldn't
remember what it meant, he said that he had at one time seen it in a
dictionary although it is difficult to find.  I can't find it in any of
mine, but perhaps someone can.  Could it really be????????
