Middle: information on role in school

I would appreciate any information from library media specialists at the
middle school level concerning the following:
- What is your role in the planning and implementing of interdisciplinary
units and/or advisory units?  Do you catalog all of them?
- Do you serve as an advisor during a home base period each day?
- How often do you meet with teams?
- How many years have you been a library media specialist for middle
school?  What do you feel is an outstanding difference between your role
in a middle school library compared to working with other grade levels?
