What is an adequate amount of memory, storage, and speed that you would
recommend for a file server that is intended for a school that has 600
students and 24 or more classrooms? The file server will run Novell 4.1 and
the workstations will be Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. This file server will
run the library automation software as well as other software for
classrooms. Would you recommend two file servers: one for the library,
another for the classrooms? Why?

What have been the experiences of those who have had file servers that were
short on memory or storage, etc.? What size file server did you have these
experiences with?

Your input will be very appreciated.
