The Lexington Public Schools announces an opening for a full-time High School Library Media Specialist. The job description is as follows: Grades: 9-12 Qualifications: Demonstrated teaching abilities; strong interpersonal and communications skills; organizational and management skills; knowledge of library systems including Internet, CD ROM databases, on-line catalogs and automated circulation. A vision of the contributions school library media centers can make in bringing a school together through access to information is important.
