Thanks to Ken Baker for defending us so well against the inappropraite
attack on how we use our time. I also get up at 4 AM (2 hours early) which
is mid day for many of you to answer and read my e-mail. If I send you a
message at 4 AM my time, it will be marked received at noon Central time!

I also want to thank those of you who gave me info about how librarians are
effected by year round schooling and how librarians affect schools!
Yesterday I bearded the lion in his own den - the teacher who teachs
teachers to have these attitudes. He was taken aback at the pile I placed
on his desk. After we spent an hour or so (How I wish I had had the
Colorado study as I referred to it many times!) he mended his tune to the
point where I am now to address his administrator and teacher training
classes on a quarterly basis regarding what we do. I am thinking of
calling it "Librarians - not just a blue haired shusher any more!"

No matter what some folks think - together we do a heck of a job!!!! Best
to all!

Guam is fifteen hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time
--livin' in the future -- ain't Life grand!
