HS:printing of CD-ROM material

We have a networked lab of CD-ROM researching programs available for student
access.  Some of the programs (eg. Authors by Gale Pub) provides over fifty
pages of material for each author.  Students have been printing out whole
articles, which seems to be too time consuming to print and way too much
material for their needs.  Has anyone encountered a similar problem, and how
do you limit all this printing?
