Anyone who uses E-Mail needs to assume it's not private. My favorite example:

We have a teacher (male) at our school is having a torrid affair with a
teacher (female) who works at another school in our district. They have
been using the e-mail to write very erotic love letters to each other.
She sent one to the printer, only she forgot which printer she sent it
to. It came out of the front office printer, was found by another teacher
and landed on the principals desk. Needless to say, principal was not
pleased. Letter was also forward to our principal and computer
services..and I suspect passed around the entire office staff also.
Teachers had their passwords changed and are in deep doo-doo with any
number of people. Not to mention they the HOT topic of a lot of gossip.

So, never e-mail anything that you wouldn't mind finding posted on the
staff bulletin board!
