I find it interesting that:

1. requests for minorities are OK unless they're for Creationists
2. cries of 'censorship' arise unless the material is Creationist
(Do you have a balanced point of view in your library? I don't.)

We recently had a public school district near Vancouver that banned the
discussion of Creationism in school science classes - STUDENTS are
not allowed to raise the topic either. This is healthy?

And on the subject of evolution (my first degree _was_ in science) I find
too many textbooks teach a very stereotypical approach to evolution.
Invariably some new 'facts' come to light which result in major revisions
to what was previously taught as 'gospel'.

The first gospel also says 'take the speck out of your own eye'.

Thanks for listening.
