I'm going to stick a fly in the ointment. Please don't get mad at me, but I think this is something we all need to think about and discuss. Have any of you read (presume that most of you have) ALA's "Access to Electronic Information, Services, and Networks: an Interpretation of the Library Bill of Rights"? If not, see SLJ, March 1996, p. 119. Reading it makes me seriously wonder where we are going with our AUPs, myself included! I am calling for a serious discussion here on this issue, in order to help clear my own mind! Dana McDougald, Media Specialist Cedar Shoals H. S. Athens, Ga. 30605 dmcdouga@moe.coe.uga.edu
