Ref: Seeking Tour de France video(s)

To all:

I've had a request for information about videos of past Tour de France
bicycle races.

What I have to go on is the following:

Sometime around 1987, CBS sports began to carry the races.  Are there
videotapes of those events (or portions of them) available for public
purchase?

I'll be searching in other ways but hoping one of you will also have the answer.
