Dear LM_Netters:
Today I had a parent write to me about a book her son checked out
this week. It is The Troll Book by Michael Berenstain. She felt it should
be taken off the shelf, because of the pictures and the under tones of the
story. Her son is in the 2nd grade and this book was placed in the 398.2's.
Has anyone else experienced this challenge request? I of course wrote back
to her and explained the process of challenging a book. Your comments would
be appreciated. TIA
