Ancient Egyptian Math

Hi guys,

This is a long shot I know, but you are always a resourceful group.

One of my teachers wants to know the process by which the ancient Egyptians
calculated math.  He has the symbols, but doesn't know how to manipulate them.

If you don't know the answer, I would appreciate referrals to web sites or other
sources.
