HIT->Student Use of Internet (con't)

A rather late addition to your HIT.
Our library has a computerised catalogue, each student with their own
barcoded ticket. We check out The Net just as we would any other resource -
so it shows up in our records who used it and when.
In addition students must complete a short search form describing what they
are looking for, including key words - good searching practice, and good
ammunition in case "unsuitable sites" are being viewed.
Finally I entirely agree with the librarian who said "put the terminal in
the view of the librarian". That's the best security of all! (two years
online and no problems ...yet!)
